The Girl in the Window Characters
The siblings at the center of Dark Dome's first Hidden Town chapter.
The Girl in the Window looks like a furniture game until the newspaper hits. The people inside the house are the reason the locks exist. This hub is the cast list. Mechanical help stays on guides and codes. Story spoilers for the door twist are flagged on the individual pages and fully written on ending explained.
The two names on the store page
Dark Dome introduces Dan and Mia as “two of our most beloved characters from the Hidden Town universe.” That sentence is doing a lot of work. You play Dan. You see Mia. The town sees a girl in a window of a house that should be empty. Twenty years of rumor sit on the pinboard you will lift for the vampire order.
- Dan — the visitor, the inventory hands, the point of view
- Mia — the figure at the glass, the VHS, the reason villagers are scared
Read those pages after you have escaped if you want them unspoiled. They assume you can tolerate character discussion.
Everyone else in the room
There is no party menu. Supporting “characters” are props that behave like people:
- The vampire portrait — a ritual lock, not a companion. See vampire safe.
- The mouse — an inventory animal with a job in the cracked pipe.
- Townsfolk, offscreen — they wrote the clippings. You never meet them in this chapter.
- The killer — unnamed here. Hidden Town points at Ghost Case for the investigation.
Detective Ren Larsen does not appear in this game. He becomes important when the series starts answering the murder. Do not wait for him behind the armchair.
Why a “players” hub on a single-player game
The template word is Players; the wiki meaning is Characters. The Girl in the Window is single-player with no online list. You will not find stats, skins, or a friend code. You will find who the hands belong to and who is watching.
If you arrived looking for a roster or a tier of fighters, use the puzzle tier list instead. The only ranking that matters in this house is which lock ruins a Sunday.
How to read the house as a character sheet
- Coat, photos, diary: family leftovers, not squatter trash
- VHS: Mia, not a random rental
- Pinboard: the town’s version of the siblings
- Window: the title. Stand there last.
Getting Started treats these as items. This hub treats them as biography. You need both readings to understand why the walkthrough feels like rummaging through a life.
After this chapter
Dan and Mia’s case continues in Ghost Case. Other Hidden Town games introduce Lucian, Laia, Bastian, Carissa, and more. They are not secret playable skins for this title. Buy those games if you want those people. Links and storefronts live on wiki links and updates.
This house only has room for two ghosts and a mouse. Meet them properly, then leave the door open for the rest of the town.
